Format: Commander

Commander: Clive, Ifrit's Dominant // Ifrit, Warden of Inferno

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red devotion/burn deck helmed by Clive, Ifrit's Dominant, whose ETB refuels the hand by drawing cards equal to your red devotion before transforming into Ifrit, Warden of Inferno - a Saga that fights and dumps {R}{R}{R}{R} into the pool before flipping back. The core plan is stacking damage multipliers - Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Twinflame Tyrant, Fiery Emancipation, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, Artist's Talent - onto big burn spells like Chandra's Ignition, Jaya's Immolating Inferno, and Blasphemous Act, plus discard payoffs in Brallin, Skyshark Rider, Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Magmakin Artillerist, and Monument to Endurance. Rituals (Seething Song, Pyretic Ritual, Mana Geyser, Jeska's Will) and copy effects (Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, Jaxis, the Troublemaker, Twinflame, Electroduplicate) amplify the damage. Secondary wins include Psychosis Crawler draining off draw and combat mana from Neheb, the Eternal. It is a mid-speed, high-variance burn deck that wins by doubling one big spell.
