Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Jund aristocrats and control engine built around Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. It leverages -1/-1 counters, blight triggers, and wither damage to generate massive card advantage, suppress opposing creature boards, and drain life totals. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration and low-cost counter generators like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Nest of Scarabs. Once Auntie Ool, Cursewretch enters, every counter placed on friendly creatures replenishes the hand while counters placed on opposing creatures drain life. Mid-game turns introduce oppressive asymmetric attrition via Kulrath Knight, Necroskitter, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, crippling opposing combat and clearing the board. The deck wins on Turn 6 either by executing an infinite counter-placement and death loop with Blowfly Infestation and Nest of Scarabs backed by Obelisk Spider, or by overwhelming the table with unblockable deathtouch creature swarms.
