Deck overview

This deck leverages Captain Howler, Sea Scourge to convert card discard into massive combat power and continuous card advantage. By pairing aggressive looting and wheel spells with discard payoffs, the deck scales Howler's power to eliminate opponents through commander damage while simultaneously eroding life totals via pingers like Brallin, Skyshark Rider and Magmakin Artillerist. Ramp is concentrated at the two-mana slot to ensure Howler hits the board on Turn 3. Once deployed, multi-card discard spells like Windfall and Change of Fortune create immediate lethal swings, supported by built-in Ward protection and evasive tools like Key to the City. As a secondary win condition, the deck naturally digs into the infinite damage combo between Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Glint-Horn Buccaneer. The strategy operates with high velocity, though it remains vulnerable to sweepers and lacks proactive locks against fast combo decks.
