Kadena (Prison/Tempo) by TheHangedMan

Format: Commander

Commander: Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kadena is a Sultai morph-value deck built around the commander's free first face-down spell and draw-per-face-down trigger. The plan is to play Kadena, deploy a free 2/2 each turn while drawing, and use morph-utility creatures to remove threats or protect the board. The fastest real finish is the Brine Elemental + Vesuvan Shapeshifter 'Pickles' lock, which makes opponents skip every untap step; Craterhoof Behemoth is the backup overrun win over the accumulated 2/2 army. Kadena is single-faced; there is no hidden commander, though The Blue Spirit acts as a secondary draw/flash engine. The deck is slow but high-interaction, with tutors to find its lock pieces.
