Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Equipment list commanded by Captain America, First Avenger. The deck bypasses hefty equip costs through Captain America's Catch trigger, alongside support cards like Puresteel Paladin, Sigarda's Aid, and Forge Anew. Dense tutoring ensures rapid access to game-ending tools like Colossus Hammer, Sword of Feast and Famine, and The Reaver Cleaver. On Turn 4, the deck presents a lethal commander damage clock while utilizing Captain America's Throw ability to turn high-cost Equipment into instant-speed removal. It protects its proactive turns with Grand Abolisher, Silence, Deflecting Swat, and Teferi's Protection. The deck finishes the table by Turn 6 through stacked combat steps with Aggravated Assault, Aurelia, the Warleader, or the infinite combat loop of Combat Celebrant and Helm of the Host.
