[Bracket 3] Helga, Skittish Seer by user1807923

Format: Commander

Commander: Helga, Skittish Seer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Helga, Skittish Seer is the engine of this Bant +1/+1 counter deck. The primary plan is to land Helga early, then use her mana and card draw to chain 4+ mana creatures, grow a wide board of Hydras and Serpents, and finish with Overwhelming Stampede or an unblockable counter-attack. Secondary paths are Simic Ascendancy and Twenty-Toed Toad, both accelerated by counter doublers. Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty and Zimone, Paradox Sculptor are support legends rather than a hidden commander; the deck has no double-faced commander. It is a mid-speed value deck that wins through combat and incremental counter growth, with enough interaction to protect its board.
