Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Naya Voltron and Equipment deck helmed by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. The primary game plan revolves around casting high-stat Equipment such as Colossus Hammer, Buster Sword, and Blackblade Reforged on turns 1 through 3, then landing Cloud on turn 4. Cloud enters with haste, bypasses expensive equip costs by attaching an Equipment immediately, and swings to draw cards and generate Treasure tokens if his power is 7 or greater. The deck leverages secondary combat payoffs like Tifa, Martial Artist for extra combats and Vincent, Vengeful Atoner to deal collateral damage to the entire table. While the deck boasts explosive single-target elimination potential and resilient mid-game recursion via cards like Unfinished Business, it operates at standard combat speed, lacking infinite combos or proactive stax pieces. Consequently, it must defend its commander across multiple turn cycles to close out all three opponents.
