Deck overview

Frodo and Sam lead a Food-token Abzan deck that converts life into cards and drains. The primary plan is to generate a critical mass of Food, Clue, and Treasure tokens with Peregrin Took and Academy Manufactor, then feed them to Mirkwood Bats or Sanguine Bond to drain the table. Secondary paths are a big combat attack with Feasting Hobbit, Treebeard, or Pippin's mass pump, and a life-total payoff via Aetherflux Reservoir or Bilbo, Birthday Celebrant. Sam's combat Food and Frodo's attack trigger form the command-zone engine; the hidden commander pair is Merry and Pippin, Warden of Isengard, who add Soldier tokens and a mass pump.
