Who's That Magic Card?! by Egg68444

Format: Commander

Commander: Magar of the Magic Strings

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Magar of the Magic Strings leads a Rakdos graveyard and spellslinger strategy designed to cheat game-ending instants and sorceries directly into combat. The deck uses looting spells and tutors to discard massive spells like Breach the Multiverse, Army of the Damned, and Fevered Suspicion into the graveyard. Magar then animates them as face-down 3/3 creatures that cast free copies of the noted spells whenever they deal combat damage. Evasion pieces like Key to the City and Rogue's Passage ensure these attackers hit unblocked. The deck closes games by overwhelming the board with zombie tokens, stealing opposing threats, or burning life totals with Guttersnipe.
