Deck overview

This mono-black kindred deck harnesses Gisa, the Hellraiser to turn standard interaction into an overwhelming army of evasive Zombie tokens. By consistently committing crimes through targeted removal, graveyard hate, and utility abilities, the deck triggers Gisa on both your turn and opponents' turns, rapidly flooding the battlefield with buffed menace creatures. Big mana engines powered by Cabal Coffers, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, and Crypt Ghast fuel high-impact mass reanimation spells like Zombie Apocalypse and Rise of the Dark Realms. Opposing creature strategies are severely suppressed through asymmetric sacrifice effects from Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through wide alpha strikes granted unblockability via Zombie Master and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, or through lethal aristocrat drain led by Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Vengeful Dead.
