Deck overview

Rocco, Street Chef headlines a Naya midrange engine built around exile-play triggers, +1/+1 counters, and Food artifact tokens. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with cheap mana dorks and rocks, casting Rocco on Turn 3. Rocco immediately generates card flow by exiling the top card of each player's library at the end step, rewarding you with +1/+1 counters and Food tokens whenever anyone plays cards from exile. Over the mid-game, this engine compounds board presence through synergies like Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival creating flying Thopters, Peregrin Took multiplying tokens, and Yotian Dissident distributing counters. The deck converts its accumulating artifact and creature mass into lethal pressure around Turn 6, utilizing overrun effects like Night of the Sweets' Revenge or direct burn from Ragost, Deft Gastronaut and Quintorius Kand to close the game over two combat cycles. While vulnerable to sweepers and lacking stack interaction, Rocco's low recast cost and immediate end-step triggers ensure steady engine recovery.
