Deck overview

This 4-color control deck leverages Jace, Multiverse Architect as a repeatable, command-zone polymorph engine. By completely excluding low-cost creature cards from the 99, every polymorph trigger is guaranteed to hit an overwhelming late-game bomb such as Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Archon of Cruelty, or Hullbreaker Horror. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana rocks and noncreature token generators like Bitterblossom, Skrelv's Hive, and Staff of the Storyteller. On Turn 4, Jace enters and immediately exiles a token with his −3 loyalty ability to put a game-warping threat onto the battlefield. Supporting spells like Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, and Synthetic Destiny offer redundant ways to flip boards into lethal armies. Robust interaction, defensive attack taxes, and free protection spells safeguard the setup until combat damage and life-doubling effects close out the game.
