Deck overview

This Jeskai spellslinger deck harnesses Gandalf, Party Guest to cheat massive instant and sorcery spells into play during combat. The strategy centers on establishing a board of low-cost legendary Wizards such as Baral, Chief of Compliance, Balmor, Battlemage Captain, and Vivi Ornitier. These Wizards scale Gandalf's combat ability, allowing the deck to cast game-warping high-mana spells for free. Card draw engines like Archmage Emeritus, Whirlwind of Thought, and The One Ring ensure a constant flow of fuel. The deck wins by redirecting opposing combat and clearing paths using Taunt from the Rampart, executing explosive overruns with Akroma's Will or Surge to Victory, or creating an infinite army of token copies with Dualcaster Mage and Quantum Misalignment. Robust interaction and protection spells keep the engine running smoothly through disruption.
