Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari +1/+1 counters deck helmed by the partner pair Bebop, Skull & Crossbones and Rocksteady, Mutant Marauder. The plan is to stack +1/+1 counters on a wide board, use Bebop, Skull & Crossbones as a life-fueled draw engine (drawing X cards equal to his counters), and close out with massive trampling creatures. Counter-doubling effects - Branching Evolution, Corpsejack Menace, Hardened Scales, High Score, Kalonian Hydra - make the counters explode exponentially. The deck wins through combat damage with huge tramplers like Quilled Greatwurm, Leatherhead, Iron Gator, and Canopy Gargantuan, backed by recursion from Old One Eye, Whip of Erebos, and Journey to Eternity. There are no infinite combos; this is a midrange value deck that grinds and grows.
