Deck overview

Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon leads a mono-black infect/poison deck that tries to end the game with poison counters instead of life loss. Early infect and toxic creatures apply pressure while Skithiryx is readied; once online, he is the main voltron finisher, using haste, regeneration, and equipment to close out players. Global poison effects from Ichor Rats, Phyresis Outbreak, Vraska's Fall, and Infectious Inquiry create a secondary path that does not depend on combat alone. Proliferate effects further shorten the clock. K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth acts as a hidden commander, paying black costs with life to accelerate the plan, while Exsanguinate remains a late-game life-drain alternative.
