Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white Soldier tribal strategy centered on Myrel, Shield of Argive. The game plan focuses on deploying early Soldier creatures and mana acceleration, casting Myrel, and attacking to exponentially expand a token army. Myrel provides built-in protection by silencing opponents' spells and permanent abilities during your turn, guaranteeing safe combat phases and unhindered spellcasting. The deck leverages token doublers such as Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Anointed Procession, alongside potent anthems like Daru Warchief, Valiant Veteran, and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, to convert 1/1 tokens into lethal threats rapidly. Card advantage engines such as Caretaker's Talent and Enduring Innocence keep resources flowing as tokens enter. To close games, the list deploys decisive finishers like Akroma's Will and Odric, Master Tactician to bypass opposing blockers and eliminate the table across Turns 6 and 7.
