Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms, utilizing an Equipment-centric combat strategy. Gilgamesh acts as both a mana cheat and card advantage engine, looking at the top six cards of the library on entry and attack to put Equipment directly onto the battlefield attached to a Samurai. The deck leverages high-impact Equipment such as Hammer of Nazahn, Genji Glove, and Ultima Weapon to build an overwhelming Voltron presence capable of eliminating opponents in single swings. Additional support from damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation and extra combat enablers such as Aggravated Assault accelerates the clock against the table. An alternative win condition is provided by Godo, Bandit Warlord and Helm of the Host, which forms an infinite combat combo. While the deck relies heavily on combat and commander presence, its strong suite of Equipment-based protection and redirection spells helps keep the primary gameplan intact.
