Deck overview

This deck combines Codie, Ravenous Codex with the companion Umori, the Collector under an all-creature deckbuilding restriction. Every nonland card is a creature, yet many feature the prepare mechanic, enabling them to cast instant and sorcery copies from the battlefield. Codie doubles these prepared spells while Umori reduces their casting costs. The primary strategy races toward a compact two-card infinite combo featuring Displacer Kitten and Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song. Casting Seething Song triggers Kitten to flicker Firesinger, resetting its prepared status upon entry while producing five red mana. By repeating this loop, the deck generates infinite red mana and magecraft triggers, quickly finding and casting lethal outlets like Emeritus of Conflict // Lightning Bolt or Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate to eliminate the entire table in a single turn. While the companion restriction leaves the deck without traditional countermagic or artifact ramp, dense creature-based card draw and recursion provide strong velocity and recovery.
