Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Azorius stax-combo shell piloted by Shorikai, Genesis Engine. It leverages Shorikai's unique status as a noncreature artifact Vehicle to break parity on brutal creature-suppression stax pieces like Humility and Cursed Totem. While opponents are prevented from activating creature abilities, casting free spells, or searching their libraries, Shorikai continuously filters cards, builds a Pilot token army, and digs through the deck. The primary win condition is the compact two-card infinite combo of Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal. With nonland mana rocks producing three or more mana, this generates infinite mana and infinite untaps of Shorikai to draw the entire library, winning on the spot through Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or Blind Obedience extort triggers. Backed by premier fast mana, dense artifact tutoring, and proactive silence protection, the deck reliably locks out the table and executes compact victories.
