Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color aggro-midrange strategy led by partner commanders Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart. The primary game plan revolves around leveraging Michelangelo's Raid trigger to generate Food tokens and +1/+1 counters, which in turn triggers Leonardo to distribute +1/+1 counters across your entire creature board every turn. Backed by Mutant Ninja Turtle tribal synergies, counter doublers like Corpsejack Menace, and combat enhancers such as Raphael, the Nightwatcher and Raphael, the Muscle, the deck rapidly scales power and toughness to overwhelm opponents in combat. Robust protection options like Teferi's Protection, Inspiring Call, and Luminous Broodmoth help preserve board presence against sweepers, while a versatile suite of removal handles opposing threats as you close the game.
