Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black combo-control strategy commanded by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. Its primary engine turns life totals into mana velocity, allowing the pilot to pay 2 life for every black mana symbol in costs. This enables early deployment of high-impact threats, massive card draw, and explosive combo turns. The primary win condition combines K'rrik with Aetherflux Reservoir and Leshrac's Sigil, repeatedly casting and returning the Sigil to generate infinite storm and life before eliminating all opponents with 50-damage activations. A secondary win line leverages Chainer, Dementia Master and Gray Merchant of Asphodel with a sacrifice outlet to drain the entire table. The deck supports these lines with targeted creature removal, hand disruption, and reanimation packages, while remaining aware of its vulnerability to resolved noncreature permanents and aggressive life depletion.
