Deck overview

This deck is a classic five-color Dragon tribal deck piloted by Tiamat. The game plan prioritizes developing mana across the first five turns through green land-search spells, dragon-centric mana rocks like Carnelian Orb of Dragonkind, and cost-reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman. On Turn 6, casting Tiamat refills the hand with five high-impact Dragons tailored to the board state, notably Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Atarka, World Render, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen. Beginning on Turn 7, the deck deploys these airborne behemoths, overwhelming opponents with doubled combat damage, token generation, and incidental burn from cards like Dragon Tempest. While exceptionally lethal in fair combat matchups and resilient against spot removal due to sheer card quantity, the deck operates at sorcery speed on an expensive mana curve and is vulnerable to fast combo strategies and recurring board wipes.
