Deck overview

This is a Mardu exile-based combat aggro deck helmed by Fire Lord Zuko. The primary game plan is to generate explosive red mana through the commander's firebending (attack-trigger mana) and a host of other firebending creatures, then chain extra combat steps via Hellkite Charger and Great Train Heist to overwhelm opponents with repeated combat damage. The deck heavily leverages the exile zone as a secondary hand, using cards like Reckless Impulse, Jeska's Will, and Bonehoard Dracosaur to stockpile cards that can be played from exile, triggering the commander's +1/+1 counter pump across the team. The win condition is entirely combat-driven, with extra combats serving as the primary acceleration mechanism. Backup inevitability comes from massive mana generation, creature recursion, and a robust protection suite.
