This Abzan deck weaponizes high-toughness defender creatures using Felothar the Steadfast as its primary commander. By allowing creatures with defender to attack and assign combat damage equal to their toughness, cheap walls such as Wall of Omens and Carven Caryatid become massive, undercosted offensive threats. Felothar's activated ability turns high-toughness, zero-power creatures into immense burst card draw without discarding.
