Commander: The Lord of the Eagles

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Lord of the Eagles is a mono-blue flying-tribal deck that wins by converting cheap fliers into a huge cost discount, then beating down with an 8/8 commander and a growing aerial board. Secondary paths include Donal, Herald of Wings as a hidden-commander engine that doubles nonlegendary fliers, and combat-draw engines like Coastal Piracy, Windreader Sphinx, and Vulture, Feathered Fiend that turn attacks into more cards and counters. The commander is the finisher and payoff, but the deck also functions as a conventional blue fliers deck through anthems (Favorable Winds, Windstorm Drake, Sprite Noble, Cynette). It has no combo; every win line is evasive combat, using bounce and counters to keep the path clear.
