Deck overview

This competitive Izzet storm deck leverages Vivi Ornitier as both a scaling mana ritual and a lethal damage engine. The primary game plan focuses on resolving Vivi on Turn 1 or 2 with fast mana, then attaching a damage-trigger draw aura such as Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast, each cheap or free spell draws three cards, fueling an unbroken chain of cantrips, rituals, and 0-mana artifacts that rapidly burns out the table in a single turn. The deck is reinforced by format-ceiling interaction, free protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship, and redundant secondary win conditions including Underworld Breach with Brain Freeze and Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal.
