Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov token aristocrats and forced-gifting strategy commanded by Kambal, Profiteering Mayor. The game plan leverages symmetrical and opponent-gifting token spells like Hunted Horror, Clackbridge Troll, Slaughter Specialist, and Tombstone Stairwell to trigger Kambal's ability, creating matching token armies while draining life from each opponent. Secondary aristocrat payoffs including Mirkwood Bats, Blood Artist, and Cruel Celebrant compound this life loss into an inevitable table-wide clock. The deck backs up this strategy with efficient removal spells such as Swords to Plowshares, Get Lost, and Toxic Deluge, alongside asymmetric sweepers like Massacre Wurm that punish the very tokens gifted to opponents. While the deck lacks stack interaction and instant-speed protection, its exceptional redundancy across token generators and drain engines ensures steady recovery and high resilience against single-target disruption.
