The Maelstrom by Lead_Brick

Format: Commander

Commander: Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Yidris cascade combat deck that wins by turning one unblockable hit into a chain of extra combats. Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder gives every spell you cast from hand cascade after he deals combat damage, so the deck runs haste and unblockable effects to connect early and then cascades into extra-combat spells, double-strike enchantments, and large cascade threats. The deterministic kill is the infinite-combat loop of Selvala, Heart of the Wilds + Sword of Feast and Famine + Aggravated Assault. Selvala acts as the hidden commander as the mana engine that makes the loop possible without Yidris.
