Alexios by Bubbelsd

Format: Commander

Commander: Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos is a forced-combat voltron deck that uses its commander as a shared clock. Alexios must attack each combat, gains haste and a +1/+1 counter on each upkeep as it rotates, and becomes a 7-10 power trampler with Equipment. The primary plan is to suit Alexios with Equipment and evasion (O-Naginata, Thran Power Suit, Whispersilk Cloak) and let opponents damage each other while Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and Fiendish Duo turn single hits into lethal commander and doubled damage. Secondary paths use Neheb, the Eternal, Kazuul and Brash Taunter as independent equipped threats with goad (Disrupt Decorum, Agitator Ant) to force attacks. Fiendish Duo acts as hidden commander, providing the damage-doubling engine that makes combat lethal without Alexios.
