Deck overview

This mono-red aggressive deck revolves around Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, leveraging explosive fast mana to deploy the commander on Turn 2. Alexios trades control around the table on each upkeep, gaining +1/+1 counters, haste, and trample while being forced to attack players other than you. This mechanism weaponizes opponents against each other, generating immense commander damage pressure from the earliest turns. The deck supports this aggressive clock with damage amplifiers like Jeska, Thrice Reborn, The Sound of Drums, and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, alongside Slicer, Hired Muscle as a redundant threat. Defensive redirection such as Deflecting Swat and disruption like Blood Moon and Silent Arbiter prevent opponents from stabilizing or answering the onslaught. The deck can also pivot into an infinite combat combo using Sword of Feast and Famine and Aggravated Assault to close games immediately.
