who's a good boy by typete269

Format: Commander

Commander: Kona, Rescue Beastie

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kona, Rescue Beastie is the engine: the deck wants a turn-2 ramp spell into a turn-3/4 Kona, attack to tap it, then use Survival to drop a 7+ mana permanent from hand. Primary plan is overwhelming trample combat: Worldspine Wurm, Giant Adephage, Sandwurm Convergence, and Gruff Triplets generate enough total power to kill the table. Secondary path is hard-casting big green creatures with dorks, Caged Sun, and Selvala, using Champion of Rhonas and Web of Life and Destiny as backup cheats. There is no hidden commander; both of Kona's abilities support the same beatdown plan, and the deck is not built around any single bomb.
