Deck overview

This deck is a Simic counters and untap engine led by Xolatoyac, the Smiling Flood. The game plan accelerates mana in the opening turns using efficient ramp spells and scalable charge-counter artifacts like Astral Cornucopia and Empowered Autogenerator. Once Xolatoyac enters the battlefield, its triggered ability puts flood counters on lands and untaps every permanent with a counter at the end of each turn. This untap engine generates massive mana reserves and doubles the effectiveness of tap abilities. The deck leverages counter doublers such as Vorel of the Hull Clade and Zimone, Paradox Sculptor alongside proliferate triggers to grow charge rocks and win conditions exponentially. The primary victory route utilizes Magistrate's Scepter to chain infinite extra turns and finish opponents with combat damage. Backup win conditions include The Millennium Calendar, Simic Ascendancy, and massive Doppelgang copies.
