The Busted Bard by MagiNoob

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is an engine, not a beatstick. The deck uses his token- and draw-doubling replacement effects to turn draw spells and token makers into explosive card advantage. The primary win line is the Thopter/Mechanized Production package: multiply Thopter tokens with redundant token doublers, enchant one Thopter with Mechanized Production, and reach eight artifacts of the same name to win on an upkeep. Secondary paths are Spawnsire of Ulamog beatdown/copy lines and a Soldier swarm from Elspeth and Mondrak. Spawnsire acts as a hidden commander supported by Quantum Misalignment and Replication Technique. Bard himself rarely attacks; he exists to double draws and token creation.
