Deck overview

Marrow-Gnawer is an exponential token engine in a mono-black Rat tribal shell. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap Rats and token makers, cast Marrow-Gnawer, and use its tap ability to convert a few Rats into dozens. Winning lines branch three ways: Ayara, First of Locthwain or Mirkwood Bats draining all opponents as tokens enter; Karumonix, the Rat King turning the fear swarm into a 10-poison knockout; or Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm pumping every Rat on the attack. Recursion and mass reanimation keep the board alive after wipes. The hidden commander in practice is whichever one-of enabler (Ayara, Karumonix, Ashcoat, or Bats) the draw finds; the deck is built around the exponential Marrow explosion and a one-of drain/pump outlet.
