Deck overview

This deck utilizes Rocco, Cabaretti Caterer as a toolbox tutor in the command zone to assemble a resilient, unconventional ETB burn engine centered on Norin the Wary. Because Norin exiles whenever a spell is cast or a creature attacks and returns at each end step, he triggers enter-the-battlefield abilities on virtually every turn cycle. Pingers like Impact Tremors, Witty Roastmaster, and Molten Gatekeeper steadily drain the table, while Torbran, Thane of Red Fell and Mechanized Warfare drastically accelerate the clock. Meanwhile, once-per-turn card draw engines like Welcoming Vampire and Tocasia's Welcome trigger repeatedly on opponents' turns to keep the hand full of interaction. The deck can also pivot into an oppressive board lock by tutoring Confusion in the Ranks, exchanging a returning Norin for the strongest creature each turn.
