Deck overview

This deck is a quintessential Naya battlecruiser strategy built around Mayael the Anima. It leverages an efficient 1-to-3 CMC ramp suite to establish a six-mana base by Turn 5. Once online, Mayael activates during the end step before your turn to bypass casting costs and drop massive 5+ power creatures directly onto the battlefield. Payoffs like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Ghalta and Mavren, and Void Winnower provide immediate board dominance, evasion, and severe combat pressure. Alternative cheat outlets such as Quicksilver Amulet, Selvala's Stampede, and See the Unwritten ensure the deck functions smoothly even if the commander is removed. Protective spells like Heroic Intervention and Flawless Maneuver defend your board against sweepers while you close out the game over two to three combat steps.
