Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green stompy and Voltron deck led by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary strategy accelerates mana in the early turns with low-cost mana dorks, land ramp, and efficient creatures with disproportionately high power such as Hunted Troll and Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. These high-power enablers drastically reduce Ghalta's casting cost, allowing you to cast a 12/12 trampler for as little as two green mana as early as Turn 4. Once Ghalta is in play, the deck converts raw power into massive card advantage through burst draw spells like Greater Good, Return of the Wildspeaker, and Rishkar's Expertise. Lethal damage is delivered across subsequent turns using combat amplifiers such as Unnatural Growth, Fireshrieker, and Tifa's Limit Break. Efficient defensive spells like Heroic Intervention and Not of This World safeguard the board against removal while you eliminate opponents in rapid succession.
