Commander: The Reaper, King No More

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a -1/-1 counter combo-control deck built around The Reaper, King No More. The commander taxes opposing creatures with counters and steals them when they die, while the 99 is a Hapatra-style engine that turns counters into tokens, cards, and life drain. The primary win is a three-card loop: Warren Soultrader sacrifices Gravecrawler for Treasure, then Gravecrawler is recast from the graveyard, triggering Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat infinitely. Backup lines use Mikaeus with Devoted Druid and Walking Ballista, or Blowfly Infestation with Flourishing Defenses and Hapatra. The deck is tutor-heavy, grinds well, and can pivot to combat with Maha and Massacre Girl.
