Voltron (Cloud, EX Soldier [4]) by vincentvanjoint

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Naya Equipment Voltron deck helmed by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER, aiming to deploy him early, suit him with powerful Equipment, and leverage his attack triggers - drawing cards for each equipped attacker and creating Treasure tokens once his power reaches 7+. The deck then chains extra combat phases (Tifa, Martial Artist, Genji Glove, Aggravated Assault) to accelerate the clock and eliminate opponents in a single turn. A robust tutor suite (Enlightened Tutor, Steelshaper's Gift, Stoneforge Mystic) and extensive redundancy in Equipment ensures the primary plan is highly consistent. Secondary win conditions include the artifact-count alt-win via Hellkite Tyrant or Knuckles the Echidna, though these are slower backups. The deck is aggressive, resilient through protection spells, and built to finish quickly once Cloud is online.
