Deck overview

Caesar, Legion's Emperor is an aggressive Mardu tokens deck that attacks to generate value: it sacrifices a spare creature to make hasty Soldiers, draw cards, and shoot opponents based on token count. The primary plan is a wide attack-trigger engine, with Isshin, Two Heavens as One acting as the hidden commander that doubles every attack trigger, while Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Ojer Taq, and Elspeth multiply the token output. Secondary paths are aristocrat-style drain via Purphoros, Warleader's Call, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Marionette Apprentice, plus a mid-combat protection package. Caesar is the central engine and reach; without him, the deck retains token/drain lines but loses its best repeatable card advantage and direct damage.
