Deck overview

This Grixis Sauron, the Dark Lord deck is a Lord of the Rings-themed "amass Orcs" and Ring-temptation value engine. The plan is straightforward: deploy an early Ring engine, grow a single Army token with amass triggers, cast Sauron to convert every opponent spell into +1/+1 counters and every Ring temptation into a discard-hand-draw-four refill, then close with an unblockable, trampling Army equipped with Nazgul Battle-Mace or Orcrist, Goblin-cleaver while Fiery Inscription, Mirkwood Bats, and Mount Doom drain the whole table. A Wraith subtheme - nine Nazgul, Lord of the Nazgul, and both Witch-kings - supplies a wide backup clock, and a compact reanimation package (Mordor on the March, Too Greedily, Too Deep, Sauron, Lord of the Rings) threatens burst damage. This is an inevitability deck rather than a combo deck, winning through accumulated card advantage, a huge Army, and table-wide drain.
