Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Rakdos combat-storm strategy piloted by Ozai, the Phoenix King. The deck harnesses an elite package of fast mana, rituals, and artifact ramp to accelerate its 6-mana commander onto the battlefield on Turn 4. Because Ozai possesses haste, trample, and firebending 4, he immediately attacks upon arrival, generating four red mana that is permanently preserved rather than lost between phases. On subsequent turns, this unspent red mana banks into overwhelming reserves, granting Ozai flying and indestructible while funding high-cost extra-combat spells such as Full Throttle, Overpowering Attack, and Aggravated Assault. Opponents face severe commander damage pressure alongside explosive turns powered by Neheb, the Eternal and Jeska's Will. Free protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick defend the commander during critical combat steps, allowing the deck to dismantle opposing life totals in rapid succession.
