Commander: The Locust God

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is helmed by The Locust God, a commander that turns every card draw into a flying, hasty 1/1 Insect token. The primary game plan is to resolve repeated wheel effects-massive draw-7 spells that fill your hand and graveyard-to generate an overwhelming swarm of tokens, then close through combat pump (Shared Animosity, Balmor, Battlemage Captain, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell) or direct pings (Impact Tremors, Witty Roastmaster). Secondary win conditions include Psychosis Crawler draining opponents on each draw and Triskaidekaphile's exactly-thirteen-cards condition. The deck is a classic Izzet wheels shell: explosive card flow, deep redundancy, and a commander that directly leverages the draw theme.
