At Least it's Not Banned in Commander by user3354420

Format: Commander

Commander: Phlage, Titan of Fire's Fury

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Phlage is a Boros graveyard-value deck rather than a dedicated combo shell. The commander functions as a recursive drain-and-beatdown engine: discard and looting effects stock the graveyard, and Phlage escapes from the yard as a hasty 6/6 that deals 3 damage and gains 3 life each time it enters or attacks. The primary kill is repeated Phlage swings under Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and enter-the-battlefield damage from Warstorm Surge and Terror of the Peaks. Secondary paths lean on Sun Titan, Angel of Indemnity, and Guardian Scalelord to recur threats, blink effects to recycle Phlage, and Ark of Hunger plus Advanced Reconstruction to drain the table. There is no hidden commander; the double-faced cards are support pieces.
