Captain N'ghathrod by MrAlarik

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain N'ghathrod

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Captain N'ghathrod leads a Dimir strategy that fuses Horror tribal synergy, aggressive mill, and graveyard theft. The deck applies early pressure with evasive Horrors, milling opponents and stealing their best milled creatures and artifacts at each end step. Beyond combat and reanimation value, the deck packs lethal combo finishes. Mindcrank pairs with Duskmantle Guildmage or an active Bloodchief Ascension to drain every opponent out in an instant chain reaction. Alternatively, Bruvac the Grandiloquent doubles mill effects to empty opposing libraries with a single kicked Maddening Cacophony or Singularity Rupture. This dual plan ensures resilience against both creature-heavy boards and control strategies.
