Deck overview

This Golgari deck, helmed by The Serpent Society, is a deathtouch tribal strategy that wins through poison counters and incremental combat damage. The commander provides a powerful control engine - whenever another deathtouch creature dies, each opponent sacrifices a nontoken creature - while Fynn, the Fangbearer converts every deathtouch combat hit into two poison counters. Infect creatures like Putrefax, Blightwidow, and Blight Mamba offer burst poison, and a suite of fight spells (Bite Down, Prey Upon, Rocky Rebuke) removes blockers and opposing threats. The deck is a slow, grindy value pile with heavy creature-based interaction and single-target protection, but it lacks card draw, counterspells, and board wipes, making it vulnerable to disruption.
