Deck overview

This is an Abzan Food-token value deck helmed by the partners Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant. The core loop is to generate Food and artifact tokens, use them to gain life and draw cards, then convert the token mass into reach. Sam, Loyal Attendant makes a Food every combat and discounts Food activations, which enables Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit's attack trigger and the Ring's tempt; token multipliers like Peregrin Took, Bilbo, Fellow Conspirator, and Academy Manufactor explode that value. The deck wins primarily through drain effects - Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Master, Agent of the Iron Throne, and Sanguine Bond - or through a hasty overrun with Pippin, Warden of Isengard after a burst of bodies from Farmer Cotton or Banquet Guests. A hidden secondary pair, Merry, Warden of Isengard and Pippin, Warden of Isengard, sits in the 99 and reinforces the same plan.
