Sauron, Lord of the Rings by user4558685

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a dedicated combo deck helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord, leveraging the ring-tempting mechanic to trigger his discard-hand-draw-four for graveyard fueling. The primary win condition is a self-mill line: use Epitaph Golem or Barkform Harvester to place a specific card on the bottom of your library, then cast Tunnel Vision to mill your entire library, winning on the spot with Thassa's Oracle, Laboratory Maniac, or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. A reanimator subtheme provides backup plans via Living Death, Zombify, and Victimize, turning the graveyard into a second hand. The deck is fast, tutor-heavy, and aims to execute its combo by turn 5-6 while using the commander as a reusable draw engine.
