Commander: Lightning, Army of One

Deck overview

This is a Boros equipment-voltron deck built to turn Lightning, Army of One into a one-hit commander-damage threat. It deploys a low curve of cheap rocks and two-mana tutors, lands Lightning on turn three or four, and attaches large swords to turn its Stagger trigger into doubled lethal hits. Secondary lines use Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and double strike to spread lethal commander damage to all opponents, while the Aggravated Assault/Sword of Feast and Famine loop can create infinite combats. The deck is not purely one-note: several legendary equipment carriers and an equipment-centric backup suite let it keep fighting if Lightning is removed, though the primary game plan is clearly the commander.
