Deck overview

This Orzhov Aristocrats deck is commanded by Ratadrabik of Urborg, turning the legendary creature supertype into a recursive engine. Whenever a legendary creature dies, Ratadrabik creates a nonlegendary 2/2 Zombie token copy of it. The deck leverages this ability through legendary creatures with potent death triggers, sacrifice outlets, and entry effects like Kokusho, the Evening Star, Ao, the Dawn Sky, Junji, the Midnight Sky, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. Its signature combo utilizes Boromir, Warden of the Tower, whose zero-mana sacrifice ability triggers Ratadrabik while the Ring tempting mechanic turns the resulting token copy legendary, enabling an infinite death loop. Trigger multipliers such as Teysa Karlov, Drivnod, Carnage Dominus, Delney, Streetwise Lookout, and Mondrak, Glory Dominus compound token production and drain triggers exponentially. Supported by efficient reanimation spells like Reanimate and Living Death, the deck rapidly rebuilds from board wipes and overwhelms opponents through inescapable life drain and token swarms.
